Virtual Buildings 2.


Goal:
  • To mediate knowledge about existing and future tools to build and use the Virtual Building model.
Volume/
Placement:
  • This 2 module PE (program unit) course is placed during semester 5 of the Aalborg University open Master of IT education.
Content:
  • Using VB for buildning design analyses and documentation
  • Integration of databases in practice (middleware, web-db connection, Cad-db, web-FEM)
  • Storing product data in IFC modelservers
  • Model checker software (SOLIBRI)
  • building components formats
  • use of VB in faclity management and building operation
  • Designing future virtual/physical workspaces
  • .......
Examination:
  • The project unit is evaluated through oral examination with external censor. Individual characters according to the 13-scale.
